The Project Aquacycle Releases Online Irrigation Suggestion Tool
The ENI CBC “Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme” funded project Aquacycle has released an online Irrigation Suggestion Tool to assist with the preparing of optimal action plans for the reuse of treated wastewater.
The WebGIS application requires a user to upload maps for an area of interest, at any location in the world and creating a relevant criteria for each map. Once a criteria has been defined, the user can press ‘submit’ to generate the output. The functionality of the tool were recently demonstrated at the Aquacycle Final Conference held in June.
Though the open-source application is mainly useful for water and sanitation engineers, it may be of interest to the scientific community.
