Arsenal Football Club joins the UN Climate Action Plan

Arsenal Football Club becomes the first club in England’s Premier League to join the UN Climate Action Plan, including the installation of a water recycling system.
Arsenal is based in London, UK, and is one of the most famous teams in the Premier League. The team have signed the UNFCCC’s Sports for Climate Action Framework. This pledges to measure, reduce, and offset its carbon emissions and advocate for climate action among stakeholders in the club.
The club has installed a water recycling system at the training centre that reuses water from the pitch. In the last year, this system has recycled more than 4.5 million litres.
