Brown and Caldwell Completes Design of New Advanced Water Purification Facility

Water Reuse Europe Associate Member, Brown and Caldwell, has completed the preliminary design of a new 13.4 million gallons per day Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF). The design is for The Chino Basin Program (CBP), led by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) and partners.
The design has been developed in collaboration Water Systems Consulting, Inc., and provides planning design, technical viability, and preliminary costs for the facility that is set to produce 15,000 acre-feet per year of purified water in order to replenish groundwater to meet current water quality objectives of the Basin and potential regulations.
