Brunel University joins iWAYS water reuse project

Brunel University in London, UK has received nearly €1 million to develop a water and heat recycling system for factories, aiming to reuse 30% of the wastewater produced.
Brunel University is one of 18 universities and organisations participating in the iWAYS (Innovative Water Recovery Solutions) project, funded by Horizon 2020. The technologies being used are forecast to cut water use by 30-64% and reuse water and heat by 30%.
iWAYS will begin in December 2020, and continue for four years, developing a range of cost-effective water reuse technologies.
