Catalonia is leading a European project aimed at promoting the reduction of water consumption in hotels and short-stay establishment

Catalonia is leading a European project (LIFE WAT’SAVEREUSE) aimed at promoting the reduction of water consumption in hotels and short-stay establishments, led by WRE member Eurecat.
The Catalan Water Agency (ACA), the Catalan Water Partnership (CWP) and Eurecat are partners of the LIFE WAT’SAVEREUSE project. This scheme intends to reduce the consumption of water in hotels, promote reuse in hotels and on golf courses, and reduce tourism’s environmental impact in the Mediterranean, using a budget of over €1.5 million over three years.
The project is in collaboration with the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Occitania region, the Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean, Aquavalley and Abaqua.
