New Interreg Baltic Sea region Project WaterMan

Climate change is affecting water availability across Europe

The new Interreg Baltic Sea Region project WaterMan, which began in 2023, fosters climate change resilient water management. Alongside 15 project partners, WRE member KWB supports the integration of water reuse measures into local water strategies and the implementation of pilot measures for the use of alternative water sources, such as reclaimed wastewater and urban runoff. In WaterMan, capacity building is key: Local decision makers and water companies benefit from practical site visits, workshops, a transnational peer learning process, and direct exchanges with experts.
