Ebro Foods sets sustainability goals, including water reuse

Ebro Foods has announced the launch of their Global Sustainability Plan, RUMBO A 2030 (“heading towards 2030”). They have set out a series of goals and actions to reach by 2030 – including water reuse.
Ebro Foods, based in Spain, has 80 different brands of rice and pasta around the world. The scheme covers environmental impact, health, and social well-being. The aim is to invest €150 million in developing and carrying out this plan.
In their environmental plan, they aim to reduce their water consumption and increase the use of recycled water. In 2018, 2.01% of their water consumption came from recycled or reused water, and they aim to reuse more every year.
