Water Reuse Europe Webinar on Governance Models for Water Reuse in Europe
5th July 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:45 pm CEST

Water Reuse Europe is organising its fourth webinar on the 5th July 2022 from 11:00 to 12:45 CEST Time.
This time, we discussed “Governance Models for Water Reuse in Europe”. The water reuse sector is steadily growing across Europe and although the new Regulation on minimum requirements for water reuse in agriculture shall contribute to some extent to a homogenisation of governance models in the agricultural sector, several models of governance across Europe, and within countries of the European territory, remain.
The development (or adaptation) of governance models to further support the growth of the water reuse sector is not without challenges, from regulatory to institutional and financial challenges, without forgetting societal challenges. In that context, Water Reuse Europe has brought together speakers from across Europe involved in the development and implementation of water reuse schemes to discuss the governance models in place in their respective countries, the challenges associated with these, and how the concept of governance is decisive in success of any water reuse scheme.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

About Water Reuse Europe
Water Reuse Europe (WRE) is the industry association for the European water reuse sector, offering a range of benefits and opportunities for both commercial and public organisations involved in water reuse scheme design, operation, and regulation. As we see significant growth in the number of industrial, agricultural, and municipal water reuse schemes across Europe, it is increasingly important that professionals and organisations working in the sector have opportunities to exchange experiences, advance knowledge and understanding, and develop a unified voice on important issues. WRE’s mission is to promote and support the sharing of good practices, knowledge, techniques, research, and experiences on water reuse and to advance its safe and effective exploitation in Europe.
Being a member of Water Reuse Europe enables companies, public bodies, trade associations and research institutions to take advantage of stimulating opportunities for knowledge exchange, advocacy, and education. It provides organisations with access to news and information about the latest developments in the reuse market and enables them to take advantage of specialist conferences, seminars, and workshops.
