Luc Hornstra works as microbiologist at KWR and is specialized in the removal or inactivation of pathogenic microorganisms from all types of water, by a range of water treatment processes, with the aim of providing safe and clean water.


Dario Frascari

Associate Professor, University of Bologna, Italy

MadforWater – Development and application of integrated technological and management solutions for wastewater treatment   and efficient reuse in agriculture tailored to the needs of Mediterranean African countries.

Dario Frascari, PhD in Chemical Engineering, Associate Professor at the University of Bologna. He is coordinator of the MADFORWATER project. His research focuses on the treatment and valorisation of wastes and wastewater.
