PepsiCo to further Reduce Water Use in Chips Production

PepsiCo, producing chips from well-known brands for the European market in Veurne, is further reducing its impact on freshwater resources through its ongoing collaboration with WRE members De Watergroep and Aquaduin. By 2030, the company wants to use only 0.5L of tap water per kilo of chips produced. For this purpose, the water treatment plant was significantly expanded, so that 95% of the filtered process water can be reused instead of the current  50%.
