Project AquaSPICE: Learn about the Democase of DOW Bohlen
AquaSPICE recently released a video showcasing the project’s democase in DOW Bohlen, Germany. DOW, in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University, the Universiteit Gent, and other partners, is investigating the ways in which we can effectively reduce the demand on fresh water. DOW is currently focusing on numerous projects on water recycling, water reuse and reducing water consumption. AquaSPICE is one such project that aims to improve the sustainability of industrial water use, thus helping the industry to adapt to climate change.
The main objective of the AquaSPICE project is the development of efficient water management and optimisation of technologies and tools to ensure industries to a near-zero water footprint target with minimum freshwater consumption and water-borne emissions. They will do this through a set of scientific and technical objectives.
