Tennis Courts install water recycling system for competition

FGWRS, a greywater recycling system produced by WRE Member FIRMUS, was recently installed in the Jean Bouin tennis courts for the 2020 Roland Garros Championship.
All the showers in the Jean Bouin tennis courts recycle the used water. The recycled water is used for flushing in the locker room toilets, replacing the potable water normally used for flushing. Partner EHThec ensured that more than 50%% of the heat in the recycled greywater is recovered as well, and used for pre-heating the water supply.
“GL EVENTS LIVE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT” are pioneers in the temporary use of such an innovation during an event. It is the first time that such a system has been installed in their facility and in France as a whole. The system will also be used in the same way for the Championship in 2021 and 2022.
