Water Reuse Special Issue on Overcoming the Challenges of Growth and Climate Change

The IWA Water Reuse journal has published a special issue focuses on the urgent need for water reuse to address increasing water scarcity driven by climate change, population growth, and industrialisation. Articles explore various solutions, such as using reclaimed wastewater for irrigation, ultrafiltration for industrial reuse, and communication strategies in South Africa. It highlights the benefits of advanced treatment processes like ozone/BAC for potable reuse and innovative approaches like membrane distillation for treating hypersaline brine.

The issue is based on the 13th IWA International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse.
