ZERO BRINE

ZERO BRINE is a circular economy project coordinated by TU Delft in the Netherlands. The focus is reducing industrial saline wastewater by recovering the minerals for reuse, and making the water reusable as well. These can go on to be used in other industries, lowering the environmental impacts of the production of the brine.
The project consists of multiple different plants. This includes a demonstration project near Rotterdam Port, Netherlands, as well as 3 pilot projects in Spain, Poland, and Turkey. It is a 4 year Innovation Action (IA) project with 22 partners from 10 countries.
ZERO BRINE is offering a tour of their Poland demo-site on the 8th October – more information on that can be found here.
